Maintenance Operative

 

We are currently searching for an experienced Technical Coordinator, for our client a highly successful housing developer that has experienced steady growth and has established themselves as a leading name in the Residential market. Their projects are all based in the Enfield area, making this a great opportunity for an individual in the area looking for a local opportunity. We are looking for a passionate individual with a strong track record in delivering exceptional projects on time and on budget.

 

Duties:

  • Co?£?ordination of Consultants and interrogation of designs including value engineering
  • Achieve targets set in the Critical Date Summary, ensuring that complete drawing packages are issued on time
  • Pre?£?contract applications to include service proposals, postal addresses, statutory notifications, NHBC, registrations, dealing with Building Regulations
  • Liaison and support of other departments in providing technical information and assisting with technical issues
  • Briefing/Appointment & co?£?ordination of Consultants and interrogation of designs including value engineering of all working drawing packages
  • Liaise with the Planning team to provide information to submit for planning condition approval
  • Liaise with appointed consultants to ensure the approval of nominated suppliers’ information
  • Liaison with Housing Association and their agent, providing conveyance plans, attending monthly meetings Office administration, record keeping, filing drawings, preparation / monitoring of pre?£?contract programs Support of site team’s day to day where required
  • Provide drawings and schedules for sales brochure production and review/approve CGI’s & brochure layouts
  • Providing details of any legal agreements, NHBC warranty information, drawings, conveyance plans and any relevant information for the solicitor to prepare the sales legal pack
  • Have an awareness of Section Agreements including the adoption of roads and sewers on completed developments, 278 agreements, 104 agreements etc. to provide support to the Engineering/Technical Manager
  • Run projects under the supervision of the Head of Technical

 

Skills

  • HNC/HND or Degree in a construction related course with a background in engineering or architecture
  • Detailed knowledge of the latest Standards such as CFSH, SBD, HQI Standards, Robust Details, building for life, Building Regulations required
  • Attention to detail
  • Acts on own initiative
  • Excellent planning and organising skills Willing to take on new responsibilities Effective at building relationships
  • Computer literate, experienced with word and excel
  • Experience of working in a similar role on a variety of projects including framed buildings and high quality housing
  • Use/knowledge of AutoCAD
