TS Recruitment are actively working with a specialist Mechanical & Electrical Contractor based in Wakefield who are looking to recruit an Estimator to join the business.

Benefits

• Basic salary circa £50-60,000 per annum
• Office hours 8am to 5pm
• 28 days holiday including bank holidays
• Pension after qualifying period

Job Role & Responsibilities of the Estimator:

• Work closely with the Commercial Director and Estimators in the team
• Take off quantities from drawings and input data on the relevant system
• Prepare and submit mechanical and electrical estimates
• Liaise with clients and offer value engineering / technical advice
• Finalise and review tender bids and attend prestart meetings
• Agree / negotiate with subcontractors

• Specialist M&E contractor
• Project values from £20k to £5 million
• Work on commercial projects such as schools and warehouses
• Work for Tier 1 Main Contractors

Knowledge/Experience:

• Commercial experience working as an Estimator.
• Experience working on projects over £2 million.
• A strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Good IT skills.
• Full UK driving license
