TS Recruitment are actively working with a regional main contractor based in Hull who are looking to recruit a bricklayer foreman / manager.

Benefits

• Basic salary circa £36,000 - £38,000 per annum
• Permanent work in and around Hull.

Job Role & Responsibilities of the Site Manager:

• Oversee / Manage construction refurb and restoration projects up to £1 million
• Rough 50/50 split between management and joinery
• 1st and 2nd fix joinery work on commercial and restoration projects
• Management duties include reading technical drawings, managing direct labour and subcontractors
• Order materials for site and manage the logistics
• Carry out site inductions and toolbox talks
• Liaise with the Contracts Manager providing progress updates.
• Ensure projects are complete within timescales and budget.

Knowledge/Experience:

• 5 plus years’ experience working as a joiner
• NVQ level 2 or higher in Joinery
• SMSTS, CSCS and First aid qualifications preferred
• Happy n a hands on role on the tools and managing site
• Computer literate
• Full UK driving license
