  • We are currently searching for New Build Sales Executive, on behalf of top 10 UK Housebuilder growth and has established themselves as a leading name in the Residential market. This a great opportunity for an individual in the area looking for a local opportunity. We are looking for a passionate individual with a strong track record in delivering exceptional projects on time and on budget.

    Must be comfortable working on sites across the North-West.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY:

    ·Escort visitors around the Sales complex and ensure they are fully informed.
    ·Receive telephone enquiries from potential customers and provide appropriate information.
    ·Maintain contact with potential customers through regular updates of promotions.
    ·Maintain regular contact with existing customers on all aspects of the process.
    ·Follow the standard follow-up procedure with customers 21 days after legal completion.
    ·Receive complaints/issues/concerns from customers and ensure that appropriate action is taken to address them.
    ·Liaise with the Sales Manager to understand targets.
    ·Close sales by completing the reservation form and taking reservation deposits.
    ·Sell the benefits of, and advise customers to use, the company recommended solicitor and financial advisor.
    ·Deal with banks, building societies, solicitors and estate agents in a confident and professional manner in order to progress each sale to exchange of contracts in 6 weeks and then through to legal completion.

    SKILLS:
    Proven track record working within a sales environment
    Previous sales experience working within New Build housing is essential
    Excellent communication skills
    Ability to overcome objections
    Can interact at all levels
    Commercial thinker and results driven
    Ability to direct collaboration among functional team

    From a House Building background you will be responsible for ensuring that all technical information, drawings/details, services/suppliers enquiry letters, quotations and acceptances, technical approvals/agreements (S104 & S38, etc) and on-site service connections are issued and received in accordance with all statutory and planning approval requirements in line the agreed drawings, specifications, build and sales programmes and budget requirements covering foundations, all main services, roads and sewers, drainage, earthwork plans, boundary details, street scene and technical design and health & safety requirements and plans.

    ·Knowledge of all CAD software

    ·LABC/NHBC regulations

    ·Background in Technical or Engineering

    ·House building experience

  • TSR are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor for a top 10 UK Housebuilding company. The main purpose of the role is to produce, manage and forecast build costs for allotted sites. Procure all necessary subcontract trades and manage the payment process and subsequent contractual obligations. Work in partnership with all other departments to achieve company objectives.

    Role duties:


    • Production of site start budgets, prior to commencement of multiple new House Builds.
    • Procure all subcontract trades involving other key members of the team ensuring best value is obtained and all subcontractor prequalification criteria have been satisfied.
    • Manage the payment process for subcontractors and help the other members of the payments team to ensure payments are made in accordance with the agreed payment terms.
    • Evaluate and if appropriate, approve payments of Dayworks and applications for both labour only subcontractors.
    • In accordance with the prescribed timetable, review and agree monthly site valuations, including cost to complete assessments using the approved system.
    • Attendance at management team/department meetings at various locations which may be outside of the usual workplace.
    • In conjunction with the Build Manager, host regular meetings with subcontractors to review performance.
    • Management of agreed performance indicators including regular updates to the Group Commercial Director/Regional Director.
    • Attend training and development events as required.
    • Chair monthly meetings
    • Any other duties reasonably requested.

    Successful candidates will possess the following skills and attributes:
    • Previous experience similar house building role is essential
    • A good understanding of all aspects of surveying and contractual procedures
    • Strong personal organisational skills.
    • Ability to work in isolation but also as part of a team within a growing business.
    • Computer literacy especially in Microsoft Excel.
    • Motivated and enthusiastic
    • Leadership skills
