Your Role & Responsibilities

As an Estimator, you will:
Work closely with the Managing Director to complete and submit tenders.
Prepare estimates and submit tenders for commercial refurbishment projects.
Attend client meetings and site visits to assess project requirements.
Review enquiries, liaise with subcontractors, and gather pricing and specifications.
Produce tender reports and present findings to the MD.
Work on projects up to £1.5 million in value.
Provide value engineering and technical advice to clients.
Attend pre-start meetings and hand over projects to the operations team.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction sector.
✔ Experience managing tenders up to £1.5 million.
✔ A relevant construction qualification (preferred but not essential).
✔ Strong IT skills and ability to work with estimating software.
✔ Excellent relationship-building skills with clients and suppliers.
✔ A full UK driving license is required.

Benefits

Job Role & Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

  • Planning and scheduling – update the MRP systems  
  • Liaise with production to ensure schedules and material availability

  • Inventory control – manage inventory levels to ensure a constant flow with minimum waste.
  • Carry out inventory audits
  • Supplier Management- Evaluate and approve suppliers based on quality, price and delivery
