Position: Design Manager
Salary: >£55k DOE
Location: Leicester
TSR are looking a Design Manager to work with a Design & Build M&E Contractor based in Leicester.
Our client covers a range of commercial installation & maintenance projects (schools, universities, care homes, distribution warehouses) across the Midlands, with values ranging between £100k - £1 million.
The skills for the Design Manager:
- Experience of working on a variety of Ventilation and Drainage projects in the Commercial field
- Proficient in AutoCAD however, the client is happy to work around the candidates preferred software if needed
- Competent in the use of Microsoft word excel for producing documentation, reports, drawing registers and materials
- Capable of understanding design calculation and report
- Excellent organisational skills
- Experience in interpretation of engineering and quality specifications and scopes
- Proven experience in similar role (min 5 years)
- Preferably Apprentice trained in engineering trade
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer Literate

- Standard office hours 7:30 - 4:00pm (can be flexible)
