The role involves quality control, subcontractor compliance, site visits, supply chain management, and overseeing audits. Additionally, the manager ensures projects meet company standards and improves EPC ratings through retrofit methods.

TS Recruitment are working with a leading Social Housing Contractor who are now seeking a permanent Retrofit Coordinator.

You will be qualified and have at least 6 months experience as a Retrofit Coordinator with a background in Construction / Property Services. Working in an established Team.

  • Having full responsibility for the overall management and delivery of the PAS2035 process, including assessment, design, installation and handover and monitoring, as defined in PAS processes.
  • Managing the retrofit survey process, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance throughout the process.
  • Provide accurate and effective energy modelling using RdSAP and full SAP, and provide guidance on solutions for meeting specific scheme criteria
  • Delivery against specific objectives and targets on retrofit schemes.
  • Manage the PAS2035 lodgement process on trustmark in accordance with main contract delivery programmes to allow timely draw down of funding.

You will:

  • Be retrofit Coordinator qualified (Level 5 and level 3 in traditional buildings)
  • Be Domestic Energy Assessor qualified
  • Proven ability and experience of managing survey processes around housing refurbishment schemes.
  • Proven ability to manage teams delivering against specific output objectives.
  • Minimum of 5 years working with the construction industry in general
  • Full UK driving license

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial aspects of projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure that projects meet their requirements.
  • Manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
  • Manage project teams, including contractors and subcontractors.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity / Senior Surveyor, with a track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience working within social housing on planned refurbishment / painting and decorating projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

TSR are currently working with a leading Social Housing Contractor in Plymouth who are recruiting a permanent Roofer to cover houses in Devon and Cornwall.

Monday to Friday

Duties:

  • Replace pitch roof coverings – slate/tile
  • Replace lead – valleys, trays, soakers flashings etc
  • Estimate material quantities
  • Inspect / survey roof for damage and determine the best course of action for repairs
  • Replace fascia, soffit and rainwater goods
  • Deliver high quality and compliant works
  • Deliver projects within the timeline
  • Repair or replace broken materials
  • Remove debris from roof level and all of site leaving work areas clean
  • Use hand tools and other equipment
  • Follow safety rules

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2 roof tiler and slater
  • Basic carpentry skills
  • Full driving licence
  • Flat roofing knowledge
  • SSST preferred
