Position: Fire & Security Service Engineer

Location: Nottinghamshire

Salary: >£40k DOE

TSR are looking for Fire & Security Service Engineers to work with a Commercial installation and maintenance electrical company based in the Nottinghamshire area.

Our client covers commercial installation & maintenance projects (pharmaceutical, educational buildings, retail. care homes and distribution warehouses) across the Nottinghamshire.

The service engineers will be responsible for maintaining fire and security systems in line with customer requirements and current standards. Here at TSR we are looking for a talented, multi-disciplined, and experienced Fire & Security Service Engineers.

The Fire & Security Service Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Managing your own area and completing maintenance contracts as required
  • Carrying out remedial works
  • Being part of the on-call rota 1 in 4

Experience for the Fire & Security Service Engineer:

  • 4 years’ experience as a multi-disciplined Fire & Security Engineer (or a willingness to learn)
  • A full UK Driving Licence – mandatory
  • Any FIA courses etc. are a bonus but not essential

Finance assistance

Position: Part time Finance Assistant

Location: Wolverhampton

Salary: £23k-£27.5k

TSR are looking for a Part-Time Finance Assistant to join a hire company based in Wolverhampton.

Our client are specialists in temporary temperature control and power hire providing a full range of Cooling, Heating, Chiller, Boiler and Generator fleet to various companies.

General office hours are 8:00 - 4:30 Monday to Friday but the role is offering full flexibility with this position depending on the candidates need. This could be short hours every day or a few full days per week. The client is also offering full from home working. Hybrid or full in the office works.

This role includes:

  • Chasing up overdue invoices
  • Hire desk control - Keeping record of equipment out on hire....what is due to be returned/overdue etc. This is currently done through excel but new software will be introduced
  • General administrative tasks
  • Sage knowledge
  • Checking the system to chase invoices

Structural Engineer

Position: Structural Engineer

Salary: >£50k DOE

Location: Leeds area

TSR are looking a Structural Engineers to work with a Structural Contractor based in the Leeds area.

Our client covers a range of structural projects from pre works to repair works across Commercial Buildings, Geotechnical projects and Domestic projects.

The Responsibilities for the Structural Engineer:

  • Production of initial engineering design.
  • Checking of technical drawings using appropriate software.
  • Responsible for marking up drawings from other parties.
  • Responsible for producing and checking calculations.
  • Preparation of schedules, material takeoffs and cost estimates.
  • Liaison, correspondence, negotiation with external bodies over information and technical queries e.g. clients, contractors.
  • To undertake regular reviews of all work assigned and to report and review the practices and procedures used.
  • Design Coordination
  • Positively represent CCL GB at project site visits and meetings
  • Monitor accuracy of work against the specification, highlighting potential problems and providing solutions

The Multi-Skilled Engineer Mechanical Bias will be responsible for maintaining the companies Mechanical services across all operational equipment as well as assisting with other skilled professionals on site where needed.

The Multi-Skilled Engineer Mechanical Bias will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining, repairing, and calibrating electrical, mechanical and instrumentation plant to optimize both reliability and maintainability
  • Carrying out remedial works
  • Ensure KPIs are met with both contracts and suppliers where needed
  • The Multi-Skilled Engineer will need to produce accurate reports

Ecologist

Position: Ecologist

Location: Kent/ London or East Midlands

Salary: £26k-£36k DOE

TSR are working with a long-standing client who are looking for an Ecologist to join their team on a permanent basis.

This position will see the Ecologist be an integral part of their Environmental and Sustainability Division, this position will be on a hybrid basis with some travel across the UK where needed.

The Ecologist will be:

  • Conducting field work for first and Phase 2 surveys,
  • Completing the associated reports and conducting environmental impact assessments.
  • Liaise with clients, project managers and stakeholders, and work closely with our arboriculturist.

Qualifications needed for the Ecologist:

  • Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field
  • Experience in ecological, habitat and wildlife assessment and identification, field work, and botany
  • Proficiency in report writing and conducting environmental impact assessments
  • CIEEM membership - Associate or higher
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

TSR are looking a Mechanical Project Manager to work with a Design & Build M&E Contractor based in Leicester.

Our client covers a range of commercial installation & maintenance projects (schools, universities, care homes, distribution warehouses) across the Midlands, with values ranging between £100k - £1 million.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience but paying up to £55,000

The role

As the Mechanical Project Manager, you will ensure the projects are running accordingly with the installation and specification requirements whilst ensuring compliance with specification and contract documentation.

As the Mechanical Project Manager you will have the following duties and responsibilities: ·

  • Review the design, specifications and tech subs
  • Write the RAMS
  • Write the project programme
  • Send out material, plant and subcontractor enquiries
  • Organise labour
  • Carry out H&S inspections
  • Set out commissioning programmes and activities with the specialists
  • Carry out Progress Reports
  • Compile O&M and hand over documents
  • Manage the commissioning and handover process
  • Attend meetings with Principal Contractors, Consultants etc.
  • Planning to make sure the projects completed are profitable.

Candidates must have strong Mechanical Building Services knowledge and be able to get a design and run jobs from start to finish.

Mechanical Project Manager - NW

TSR are looking for a Mechanical Project Manager in Yorkshire.

You will be responsible for managing multiple mechanical installation projects across the commercial, health, education, and industrial sectors. You will also have full responsibility for the project at handover from estimating to its completion and ensure that your project is delivered to our client on time and within budget.

Duties:

  • Procurement of materials and labour
  • Management of directly employed and sub-contract/specialist labour
